Files to the factory, Backerkit in review!

Greetings L&H Backers! We hope this message finds you well!
A couple of updates.
We have completed all the back-end on the BACKERKIT SURVEY and it is under review with the Backerkit team to make sure we did everything correctly. It's looking good! Which means Backerkits will go out soon. We will keep you all posted on when they start going out. Backerkit is where you will manage your pledge, provide us shipping information, and eventually when we are ready to ship it's where we'll charge your shipping.
We have received out funds from Kickstarter (THANK YOU ALL) and that means we have told the factory... let's move forward with tooling! Very exciting news. We are providing 3D files, and making sure the factory has everything needed to start making our machine tools, which will house all the parts it will take to make Stan and Ollie! We'll keep you posted on the process.
While we all await the greenlight on our Backerkit Survey... why don't we watch a classic! When was the last time you enjoyed the boys in THE HOOSE-GOW? Here's your chance to enjoy it again!

Dear L&H Backers, THANK YOU!!!!!! We did it!! With your help, we are officially making OFFICIAL LAUREL & HARDY collectible action figures!!!! We could not have done it without all of you coming together to make this happen!
As a life long fan of Stan and Ollie... I am floored. I'm so happy we get to pay tribute to them with these figures, like you, I can't wait to display them on my shelf. - Gavin

Our cure for the Monday's ... A Figure Stand Reveal!

Greetings L&H Backers!! We hope this update finds you all well! Happy Monday!
We know... we know, Mondays are not entirely fun so to help brighten it up, we thought we'd reveal the FIGURE STANDS that will be INCLUDED WITH EVERY LAUREL & HARDY figure. Like many action figures, Stan and Ollie will have peg-holes in their feet, which will connect to the pegs on the figure stands for display. Inspired by the motion picture reels their very films were projected from... comes out Laurel & Hardy figure stand(s).
We hope you like the design! The stands will be included, one per figure either in the box with the boxed editions, and with the carded editions, they will either come polybagged separately, or under the tray in the blister card bubble depending on how it looks/fits. But, regardless, Stan and Ollie will have a little help standing straight so they can ahem... BE BIG, Oliver.
We are thrilled to be making these figures and so thankful to all of you for joining us with your pledges, so we can make these amazing Laurel & Hardy collectibles.
Speaking of Laurel & Hardy collectibles, in our efforts on this project we came across an amazing book that is up for preorder now. COLLECTING LAUREL & HARDY by Danny Bacher and Bernie Hogya. Collecting Laurel & Hardy?! Kinda sounds like all of us doesn't it?! Looks like an amazing book with awesome photos and information of Laurel & Hardy collectibles throughout history. We've already pre-ordered ours... here's the link in case you are interested in the book as well. (Who knows... maybe one day there will be a second printing that can include our figures!)

If you happen to be near Harlem, Georgia this weekend, be sure to visit the 35th annual Oliver Hardy Festival on Saturday. There will be a parade, craft and food vendors, movie shorts and other fun activities throughout the day. The Event runs from 9 AM to 4 PM, and you can learn more here.
If you go, take lots of pictures! We’d love to see them! And tell everyone where they can pick up their Stan and Ollie action figures!

Of course, it wouldn’t be October without something a little spooky!
Our pals at Severed Books & Toys are creating a truly terrifying card game - Oldest Child, a cooperative storytelling card game about a vampire! You and a group of friends take care of a vampire for three years (the game taking only 4-6 hours). Her kind is suffering from a mysterious illness that cakes their noses with a white fungus, suffocating them, sometimes leading to death. It is named The Sufoca (Romanian for Suffocate). Lyda, the vampire you are taking care of, is sick with the illness and in a state of relative weakness.
It’s hard to believe there are only 2 weeks left in this campaign! We can’t wait to see how things progress, and we’re incredibly grateful for all of your support and excitement about these figures. Thank you!!

Stretch Goal Accessory Set(s) UNLOCKED! How to Add the ADD ON!

L&H Backers! You did it! You helped us cross the 60K goal and the STRETCH has been unlocked! Now you can add on the accessory sets for $5 each and Stan and Ollie can finally make it out to the lodge for a good time!
We are absolutely psyched to be making these figures and we appreciate all of your support and fandom for Laurel & Hardy!
To ADD one or more of these sets to your pledge, here are directions below.
Visit the project page and click the “Manage your pledge" button.
On the following page, select "Change your pledge". From here, you’ll be able to adjust your pledge amount or switch to a different reward tier. Additionally, you’ll have the option to add any add-on rewards.
We've found the easiest way to add an ADD ON is to click to change your pledge, re-select the pledge tier you previously selected and then you will have the option to add on the new ADD ON to that pledge.
COLOR or BLACK AND WHITE or BOTH! Remember to carefully add on the accessory set that matches the figures you have pledged for. We have created the accessory set in COLOR and BLACK AND WHITE so choose that add on carefully! And if you pledged for both variations you can add on both sets.
The accessory set comes in the fun trunk-box, which will correspond with the accessories being either in color or black and white.
ALSO, we have created a new TIER for those who want the giftset but would rather have both boxed versions, instead of black and white boxed and color carded. It's TIER 6, includes the 100th anniversary pin and lunchbox, but just has both boxed versions and omits the carded versions. (we got a few requests for this, if you are happy with boxed/ carded combo, don't change a thing!) and of course the above accessory sets an be added to your Tier 5 or Tier 6 pledge.
Finally, some friends of ours in the indie toy world have launched an amazing Kickstarter campaign for SPACE 1999. A modern day collectors version of the amazing EAGLE spaceship, with Alpha Pilots (o-ring style). As fans of this series and the folks making the toy, we thought we'd share their campaign with you.
